unoccupied (2023–2026) is a visual investigation into the psychology of spatial belonging. driven by a personal sense of being "everywhere and nowhere," I capture traces of human presence and sudden voids: empty chairs and discarded objects. these elements act as placeholders, raising the question of whether a space truly belongs to us or is already occupied by someone else.
